We are hearing from many schools that they just don’t have it in their budget to embark on a brand overhaul. We think that is good. Our experience shows us that most schools do not need a brand “overhaul,” but rather a brand “refresh.”
We all are aware of major brands that have ultimately gone out of business after investing heavily in a re-brand only to find out it did not work.
Why might this happen? One of two primary reasons. First, the company failed to focus on and invest in the value propositions that drive interest and engagement or second, their product lost relevancy over time either due to market drivers or failed efforts to meet contemporary needs and demands.
We are seeing this play out in higher education more than ever today.
How can we help?
We offer three levels of brand refresh services.
Level 1. Brand Refresh Assessment. We conduct a straight-forward stand-alone brand review service that provides you with written observations and recommendations in short order at an affordable price without an extensive timeline. You get data and information that your team can run with that can help your brand resonate with potential customers within your specific market. A review of brand pillars, value propositions, website, print and collateral material, and the admissions communications flow is conducted. Observations and recommendations are provided in a written report.
Level 2. Brand Refresh Assessment & Implementation. In addition to getting all of what is included in Level 1, our team will assist you with the implementation of the recommendations presented. It also includes assistance with modifying and re-mapping the admissions communications flow including drip campaigns.
This service is designed for schools that do not have a full complement of marketing professionals and it allows you to essentially outsource all or a segment of the build at an affordable price without a long-term contract.
Level 3. Enrollment Marketing Enhanced Support/Outsourcing. We can serve as the outsource agent for our enrollment marketing services, including copy and creative development and production. This service is best suited for the school that recently lost key players within their marketing team, looking to complement their marketing team on an interim basis, or looking for a short term solution that costs less in the long run than replacing full-time staff.
